N2 - Eighty-one Enterobacter cloacae isolates collected from 20 hospitals in Anhui Province, China, from January to August 2005 were screened for plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance determinants by polymerase chain reaction and sequencing. qnrA1, qnrB4, qnrS1, and aac(6′)-Ib-cr were present in 6.2% (5/81), 6.2% (5/81), 8.6% (7/81), and 3.7% (3/81) of those isolates, respectively.
