Abstract

The threonine phosphatase eyes absent (EYA) has been identified as a novel regulator of innate immune responses to cytosolic nucleic acids and undigested DNA from apoptotic cells. EYA regulates responses of yet unidentified DNA sensors and enhances interferon-β and CXCL10 transcription.
