Abstract

Musculotendinous, ligamentous, and cartilage injuries were the most common types of disabling injuries encountered. A prospective study of the body types of the players might be helpful in undertaking preventive measures. A loose-ligamented player may benefit from a program of resistance exercises to the major muscle groups of the upper and lower extremities, as might as player with a chronic tendonitis.
