Abstract

The preparation of Yb3+ and Er3+ codoped amorphous fluoride film by pulsed laser deposition was studied. The voilet, green, red and ultravoilet upconversion emissions under infrared excitation at 988 nm were observed. The upconverted emission spectra under a power-adaptable 988-nm-laser-diode excitation was measured and detected with a fluorescence spectrophotometer.
