N2 - In summary, a new 9-MHz, 9Fr catheter-based IE has superior imaging capability, is a useful tool for imaging cardiac structures, and is an important adjunct for diagnosis of cardiovascular abnormalities. IE provides high-quality imaging monitoring during cardiac electrophysiologic procedures, which may be utilized for guiding interatrial septal puncture, assisting in mapping, ablation, and basket catheter placement, observing morphologic changes in ablation lesions, and instantly detecting procedure-related complications.
