N2 - Intense 1.2 μm fluorescence was observed in Ho3+/Yb3+co-doped tellurite glasses under the pump of a 915 nm LD. A relative gain of ~6.7 dB at 1176 nm was obtained from a Ho3+/Yb3+co-doped tellurite microstructured fiber.
