Abstract

To the Editor: We wish to report a clinical syndrome, which we have named holiday heart Type II. Unlike the holiday heart syndrome of atrial fibrillation or flutter after binge alcohol abuse,* this syndrome involves atrial flutter occurring after a different type of celebration. A 79-year-old man with a history of coronary artery disease underwent coronary-artery bypass surgery in July 1987.
