Abstract

A case of a primary mesothelioma of the atrioventricular node is described. The tumor caused complete heart block for at least 30 years. The 9 previously reported cases are summarized. The microscopic nature of the tumor and the tendency for heart block to occur before the fifth decade of life are emphasized.
