Abstract

This article presents 3 case reports of patients with warts that responded to topical 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) 5% cream. Two of the cases involved recalcitrant warts. Clearance was rapid and without recurrence. Home application of topical 5-FU cream is an effective alternative for the therapy of warts in children and young adults.
