Abstract
A question and answer session presented at the NPRA Conference (1996) on general processing covers new techniques, other than steam air decoking and shot blasting, that are proving to be effective in cleaning fouled piping and furnaces, e.g., pigging; techniques being used to clean bundles in vacuum tower bottoms and asphalt services; and success with in-place chemical cleaning.
