Abstract
Fracture-dislocations of the elbow encompass a wide spectrum of complex and unique injury patterns. An understanding of the anatomy and kinematics of the elbow is essential to a good outcome. The goal of treatment is to achieve a painless, stable elbow with a functional range of motion to carry out activities of daily living. This article reviews the recent trends in the treatment of elbow dislocations with an associated radial head fracture.
