Focal behavioral syndromes in neuropsychiatry

Abstract

In the past year there have been exciting developments in neuropsychiatry regarding frontal robe functioning as well as advances in understanding the neurobiological basis of consciousness. Transcranial magnetic stimulation has been applied to the study of both of these areas with interesting results. Advances in these areas are discussed.
