Abstract
Fast atom bombardment (FAB) spectra of several clinically important antineoplastic agents were obtained with both quadrupole and double-focusing magnetic mass spectrometers in a simple and inexpensive manner utilizing, without modification, existing chemical ionization sources (with their fast pumping capability) allowing both mass spectrometers to operate routinely with the other inlet systems.
