Abstract
Periocular reconstructive options are based on a hierarchy of desired goals such as preservation of visual function, comfort, and appearance. Relevant anatomical and neurophysiological relationships are reviewed. Traditional surgical repair techniques are described as well as more recent methods that go beyond the parameters of size and location to take into account facial dynamics and volume.
