Abstract

Eye movement abnormalities are common in movement disorders and may offer insight into neural mechanisms, assist with diagnosis, or result in visual complaints in the setting of normal visual function. The role of the basal ganglia in eye movement control and eye movement abnormalities common in various movement disorders are discussed.
