Research output: Contribution to journalShort surveypeer-review

Abstract

Expressed emotion, a reliable measure of the attitudes of relatives toward patients with chronic illnesses, predicts the course of an increasingly wide range of illnesses. High expressed emotion may be a relatively stable trait associated with disturbed internalized attachment patterns, family dysfunction, attributional style, and certain behavioral problems.
