Abstract

The CO2 laser with wavelength 10.6 μm is adopted by experimental research. In experimental environment cabin, the parabolic lightcraft is fixed on impact pendulum. Using N2, He, CO2 and mutual mixed gas of N2, He and CO2, different impulse coupling coefficient Cm is obtained. It increases with enhancement of the pressure and molecular weight of the gases. In low pressure, it increases with enhancement of the bigger molecular ratio in mixture. In high pressure, it correlates with gas species and component ratio.
