Abstract

Malignant mesothelioma has only rarely been reported to involve the esophagus. In all previous cases of esophageal involvement by mesothelioma, survival has been measured by a matter of weeks and months. We report a case of esophageal compression by malignant mesothelioma, with successful long term palliation from esophageal bypass with colon interposition.
