Erratum: The new European Society of Cardiology/European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery recommendations for transcatheter aortic valve intervention are too restrictive (European Heart Journal (2022) (ehac131) DOI: 10.1093/eurheartj/ehac131)

In the originally published version of this manuscript, there were two errors in the text.The passage “comparing surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) vs. transcatheter aortic valve intervention (TAVI)” should instead read “comparing surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) vs. transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI)”. The passage “[t]he PARTNER-3 trial also showed that the primary endpoint remained significantly lower with TAVR vs. SAVR” should instead read “[t]he PARTNER-3 trial also showed that the primary endpoint remained significantly lower with TAVI vs. SAVR”. These errors have been corrected.
