Abstract

(Cell 170, 443–456.e1–e14; July 27, 2017) Our paper reported that Alzheimer's disease-linked mutations in Presenilin and the amyloid precursor protein (APP) destabilize interactions between gamma-secretase and APP leading to the production of longer amyloid beta peptides. We have identified two errors in Figure 3C of the manuscript. During preparation of the final figures, we mislabeled the temperature values for the PSEN1 mutants. They should appear as 37, 41.3, 45.7, 51, 55.1, 58.1, 60, 65 °C. Instead, the figure displays 37, 41.3, 45.7, 51, 55.1, 58.1, 60, 62.5, 65 °C. Additionally, the image for the R278I mutant was truncated omitting part of the final lane. This image has been replaced with the full size blot. These changes appear in the corrected figure below. These errors do not affect the results presented or the interpretation of the reported data. The authors apologize to the readers for any confusion these errors may have caused.
