Abstract

(Cell 124, 1155–1168; March 24, 2006) In 2009, we, the editors of Cell, were alerted by the authors of a duplicated image in Figure 1B. After investigating the matter, we determined that the duplication was accidental and that it did not impact the conclusions of the paper. At the time, we did not publish a Correction. The issue has now been raised again, so we are publishing this Editorial Note to alert our readers of our previous findings and to indicate that based on the information available to us, we will take no further action.
