Abstract

An unconditional safe Distributed Key Distribution Centre (DKDC) scheme was proposed based on the Vandermonde matrix and Shamir's secret sharing schemes. Comparing with the verifiable secret sharing based scheme, the proposed scheme assumes that each user is connected to all servers, and each two servers are also connected through secure channels, thus no broadcasting channel is required. Therefore, it is more practicable in application. Comparing with the bidimensional extension Shamir s secret sharing based scheme, the proposed scheme not only reduces computational and communication loads, it is also more reliable.
