Abstract

Over 1,000 patients undergoing coronary revascularization were monitored with among other the V₅ lead of the ECG. Many episodes of myocardial ischemia were seen with ST depression noted only in V₅. In the present paper a patient is described in whom one of the (3) grafts became kinked and clotted, an event which was diagnosed by an ST elevation in the V₅ lead. The patient was reoperated with success.
