N2 - As a key part of sensor family, the magneto-dependent sensor has been widely utilized in aeronautics and astronautics, biology and medicine, etc. But the comprehensive characteristics test method is still in progress since the lack of suitable magnetic field generator and corresponding testing system. Thus, a standard magnetic field generator with wider frequency and amplitude is designed. And the corresponding characteristic test system is designed and manufactured in this paper. After that, the static and dynamic characteristics of a giant magneto-resistance (GMR) sensor is tested and analyzed. The existing problem of characteristic test system is simply discussed at last.
