Abstract

This study was designed to determine the intrinsic viscoelastic behaviour of NP in torsional shear, and to obtain a relaxation spectrum capable of describing this behaviour. Several relaxation functions based on both discrete and continuous relaxation spectra were investigated to describe the intrinsic viscoelastic effects for the NP. It was observed that the shear behavior of the NP exhibits pronounced viscoelastic effects, as demonstrated by a considerable stress-relaxation effect.
