Abstract

The evolution of the history that defines the C5 experience and the steps taken to improve quality and eliminate health disparities was not limited to a single individual, institution, or society but rather was a collective effort by many to improve the care provided to patients. The following chapter is presented through the eyes and words of several (among many) who were deeply dedicated to this work.
