Abstract
Lyme carditis occurs in approximately 4% to 10% of patients with Lyme disease. We present a case of a 64-year-old woman who presented with a flu- like syndrome and high-degree atrioventricular block. She was presumptively diagnosed with Lyme carditis, which was confirmed by Western blot. The patient was successfully treated with antibiotics and had complete resolution of her atrioventricular block. A current review of the cardiac manifestations of Lyme disease follows.
