Abstract

A 6-week-old female infant had Cushing's syndrome complicated by monilial endocarditis. The presenting features of the syndrome in infancy are contrasted with those commonly seen in older children and adults. The increased risk of monilial sepsis in Cushing's syndrome and the difficulty in therapy of this complication are emphasized.
