Abstract

A 38-yr-old female patient with a 10-year history of Crohn's ileocolitis established by clinical, radiographic, endoscopic and histologic findings is presented. She demonstrated cold sensitivity. Raynaud's phenomenon, arthralgias, nephritis, thromboembolism and significant cutaneous gangrene. It is suggested that her extraintestinal complications are associated with and a consequence of, a cryoglobulin isolated from the serum.
