Abstract
The authors regret the need to request a corrigendum for the above referenced article. An author (Keyoumars Ashkan) was not included as author by mistake. Prof. Ashkan contributed to development of the analysis framework and served as an investigator on the European study whose patient data were included in the pooled analysis reported in the manuscript. While study data were retained in the final analysis, no representative author from that study was included at the time of publication. As a result, Prof. Ashkan was not provided the opportunity to participate in manuscript review and approval prior to publication. Consistent with ICMJE guidance, Prof. Ashkan has now been invited to review the published manuscript, provide any critical intellectual input, approve the final version, and formally agree to accountability for the work. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
