Abstract

By using a cytophotometer without "flare" the correlation between nuclear volume and DNA content in the liver cells of the mouse C3H Ba during post-natal growth was studied. Hertwig's and Schreiber's hypothesis was thus confirmed by demonstrating the existence of a direct relationship between cariometric data and cytophotometry determination in liver cells nuclei of the male mice.
