Abstract
Posterior glottic insufficiency following horizontal partial laryngectomy results in persistent aspiration. A new method of correction of this occurrence is described. The procedure is an extralaryngeal approach. A tracheotomy is not required. The procedure was successful in 4 of 6 patients.
