Abstract
An unusual case of self-mutilation is reported in an 18-year-old woman with paranoid schizophrenia. The ocular injury from a Thorazine Spansule placed in the lower conjunctival fornix resulted in a scarred vascularized cornea and prephthisical globe about 18 months later.
