Abstract

Silver phosphates (Ag3PO4) with varied morphology were prepared via an ammonia-mediate method. The as-prepared Ag3PO4has a cubic-type structure and the morphologies are controlled under different ratio of water and ethylene glycol. The decomposition test of RhB indicated that the uniform morphology of Ag3PO4exhibit much higher photocatalytic activities than that of not uniform ones under visible light irradiation. The DeNOxexperiments revealed that the micronsize Ag3PO4microcrystals possessed photocatalytic ability lower than that of the commercial Degussa P25 under ultraviolet and visible light irradiation, which suggested that the size of Ag3PO4is a key role for DeNOx.
