Abstract

The use of continuous glucose monitoring devices (CGMs) is becoming more prevalent as the American Diabetes Association has included them in their Standards of Medical Care. The use of certain medications may affect readings displayed by CGMs and may cause inaccuracies. Healthcare providers need to be aware of these interactions.
