Abstract
Forty one patients in a psychiatric outpatient department were identified as college dropouts and were compared with a matched group of patients who had never attended college. Apart from a trend suggesting some difference in occupational status, no significant statistical differences in the two groups were noted, in particular with respect to psychiatric diagnostic categories.
