Abstract

A patient presented with an enlarged neck mass and was found to have human immunodeficiency virus, disseminated Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and a neck abscess with Actinomyces israelii, Haemophilus aphrophilus, and M. tuberculosis. To our knowledge, this is the first case of cervicofacial lymph node coinfection with Actinomyces and tuberculosis in the English literature.
