Cellular automata and its simulation based on Matlab

Abstract

According to S. Wolfram's class of cellular automata, the dynamic simulation of all elementary cellular automata can be conducted by using Matlab. The authors have proposed an algorithm to simulate parity regular cellular automata and developed the ant's regular cellular automata by using Matlab; the authors have also realized the visual model, showing the advantage of cellular automata to simulate complexity phenomena.
