Abstract
Several recent reports suggest that ECF can be safely administered in some patients with meningiomas. We describe the safe use of ECT in an elderly woman with a meningioma, in con- junction with the precautionary use of dexamethasone. The rationale for such steroid treatment is to reduce the potential complications of cerebral edema that may be associated with brain tumors.
