Abstract

Five additional cases of laryngeal chondroma are added to the literature. The pathognomonic characteristic of these lesions is their extreme hardness when biopsy is attempted. As conservative an approach to surgical treatment as feasible is advocated. Laryngeal chondrosarcomas are much less aggressive lesions than chondrosarcomas that arise elsewhere in the body.
