This chapter describes the emerging role of cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) in the assessment of neonatal hemodynamics. While at the time of publication this approach remains in its infancy, the technique has begun to demonstrate its value in providing highly detailed insights into the pathophysiology of the neonatal circulation.
