Carbamazepine in bipolar-depressed disorder complicated by tricyclic antidepressant switching: Case report

Abstract

The use of carbamzepine in a depressed bipolar patient with a history of manic switching with tricyclic antidepressants is described. Carbamazepine effectively treated the depression and mania was avoided.
