Abstract

A 55 year old woman scheduled for endoscopie assessment developed severe bronchospasm intraoperatively. Postoperatively the patient was diagnosed to be suffering from Byssinosis a form of extrinsic asthma. The review of literature, differential diagnosis and management is discussed.
