A case of bilateral ureteral obstruction associated with alcoholic pancreatitis in a 40–yr‐old male patient is reported. Although pancreatitis complicated by pseudocyst formation has been known to involve intra‐ and extraabdominal organs, bilateral ureteral obstruction has not been reported. We postulated that in the case reported herein, periureteral fat necrosis involving both ureters was the primary etiological mechanism.
