Abstract

Based on recent articles about the positive effects of r-TM S in depressed patients, in December 1997 in the Utrecht University Hospital a pilot study was done of the effects of χ-T M S on outpatients with a depressive disorder. The treatment had a small effect. Out of seven patients one had a positive response. This treatment requires much time of both patient and doctor.
