Abstract

The adnexa consists of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and ligaments of support. These are bilateral structures. There is a variety of simple, complex, cystic, and/or solid lesion that arise from the adnexal structures. Specific symptomatology that is found in patients with these lesions can vary based on a specific location, consistency, and the size of the mass.
