Abstract

In the version of the article initially published, the locations of residues in TM6 were incorrectly shifted by one helical turn in Figs. 2b, 2c, 3b, 3d, 4f, Extended Figs. 3o, 3p, 4a, 7a, 7b, 9c–h and Extended Data Table 1. These figures and the Extended Data have now been updated to amend this error (see the Supplementary Information for a list of edits and original article for comparison). Relevant sections of the text have been updated to reflect this change, which does not impact the conclusions of the study.
