Abstract

In the version of this article originally published, there were phrasing errors in the last sentence of the Abstract (corrected to read “Pharmacologic inhibition of acetylcholine esterase decreased the systemic supply of inflammatory myeloid cells in mice and humans with cardiovascular disease”), in the second sentence of the Discussion (corrected to read “We found decreased numbers of leukocytes in humans and mice treated with acetylcholine esterase inhibitors, and increased leukocyte numbers in mice with B cell-specific deletion of the gene encoding the enzyme Chat…”), and in the fourth sentence of the Discussion (corrected to read “Cd19CreChatfl/fl mice with atherosclerosis or post-MI heart failure had increased cardiovascular inflammation and worse disease outcomes”). The changes have been made in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
