Abstract

Although most immunodeficiency diseases are eventually diagnosed clinically and then classified in the laboratory, certain early roentgen manifestations other than those relating to chronic recurrent infections may guide the clinicians to test for these primary immunodeficiency disorders. The importance of early recognition is the availability of newer forms of therapies, such as histocompatible bone marrow transplants, thymic transplants and fetal liver transplants.
