Abstract
A study was performed on the architectural lighting & energy efficiency. The fundamental issues characterizing wasted lighting energy were discussed. The energy-effective technologies, applications and public policy programs were also discussed. It was reported that nearly 80% of the energy used for lighting is wasted.
